Hi Bill & Sharon,
Just to update you both with Saij, I was talking to Jenny this morning and she asked if I could let you know about Saij.
All the Carson family is with Saij this weekend, and they feel better after seeing him.
He has a hole in his cornea the width of your finger nail, the specialist had to cut away the infection and than put glue over the eye as well as a dissolveable contact. He could go home next weekend, but they need to see the Doc every week until – no one knows!
Saij will have to wear glasses for protection, because the eye and surrounding skin is very weak.
Jenny said he is still the same noisy boy, having fun in the hospital toy room, jumping all over the bed. Scott took Sommer out yesterday for lunch plus she had a haircut, it has been very stressful for her. Diane has been taking in meals a few time’s a week, because she was eating frozen dinners reheated.

Saij is good ,he just had a split where the infection was and had been so swollen .They have put some special Glue over split and then covered that with a disolvable contact lens ,and also put something to help the infection into the eye.He will have to wear glasses 24 /7 probably only to protect the eye ,but will know more as the eye heals.He is jumping out of his skin wanting to run etc,but is all just going to take time .Hopefully will be able to go home by this weekend ,but all depends on recovery.Wish we were there with u guys enjoy love Jenny and Alan

Bill, I don’t know how you do it but since you’ve been away you have manged to move into equal 2nd place in the Footy Tipping. You even managed a perfect round a couple of weeks back. Spill is still in first place now only three points in front of you. I have enjoyed reading the blog and your postcards in the staffroom. Cheers Brad

Hi Bill & Sharon, Well we are back in Oz safe and sound had a bit of a delay in Singapore but not complaining Qantas picked up the tab lol Luv the posts and the pics see you when you get back. And Bill i got me a new computer with a touch screen Kay one too it must be good she hasnt said the f word at it yet lol.
