A Day in Dublin

Had a great breakfast, took a walk, and caught an open bus ride around Dublin which was good. A student at Trinity College took us for a tour around the grounds before we spent some time trying to view the Book of Kells. The library is amazing with thousands of books arranged in order of size! I smelt them all before I saw them. We took a wander through St Patrick’s Cathedral which is just a little bigger than St Pats in Howard and finished off the day with a dinner interspersed with storytelling about the folklore of the Irish at an old pub, The Brazen Head. A bit of music thrown in with a couple of pints made it a good night. We sat next to an Gold Coast couple in their 20’s who were on a 12 month world tour. He had bought a Tarago in London, tossed the seats, made a bed and hit the track.
